Stuck at Bouncing Icon on Dock

Using Musescore latest version as of 2/7 on Mojave 10.14.6. The program will not load, will not get past bouncing icon on dock. This is a new problem, I have used it before successfully. Tried the terminal reset to factory settings and the right click open approach. Still can't get past bouncing icon. Tried reinstalling, same thing.

Not so great.
