eliminating extra beat at end of movement
I am trying to eliminate, for instance, the eight rest at the end of the movement, whose time is taken up by the two 16th note pickups in the following movement. How do I do this?

However, there's still one 8th too much, the pickup in the next measure is 2 8th, not 2 16th.
