Scratch this issue. The file I was working on became corrupted for some strange reason. Mad that I had to start completely over on my work by creating a new file. But issue was fixed. Now why did my file get corrupted WHILE I was working on it.
It's been crashing for me for months. Sure, the file may be corrupted, but: (1) couldn't Musescore do a quick search upon loading a score to see if there are corruptions (if it does, it didn't flag any corruptions); and (2) what are good manual ways of checking for corruptions? This often happens when tying an "and of 4" chord to a dotted quarter on beat 1 of the next bar.

Basically it crashes anytime I try to add a tie to a note.
What version or MuseScore exactly (Help > About), what Operating System?
Can you provide a sample score?

score and steps to reproduce needed
MuseScore does chack scores for corruptions and report those. This doesn#t work though if the corruption is in the parets (only)
