Hello I have two questions for a kind person to answer.
1. In a measure of 4/4 with anacrusis of 1 beat, I cannot remove the quarter note rest in the last measure - I should only have 3 beats, but it refuses to allow that.
2. I need to write "GIOCOSO" above the first measure; as it's not in the palette I don't know how to do this.

Addendum to the above - while changing the actual duration of the measure to 3/4, also check the box to exclude it from the measure count. If not for the importance of that in maintaining proper numbering, I'd say the easier way to remove a beat (or any number of beats) from a measure is to select then use Ctrl+Delete.

No need to exclude that last measure from being counted though.

Indeed, I missed that the question was about the last measure and not about the pickup.

The attached score is in 12/8 and I need to convert it to 6/8. Is this easy or do I have to rewrite it?
