Hiding a stave for a specific movement
I am composing a piece, and I would like to leave out a stave for a specific movement. I want the stave to be visible in the other movement (even when empty), but I want to completely hide it in the next movement. Is this possible?

Currently the most strasightforward way to do that would be to have the movements in separate files. But it's possible with some effort to do in one file as well. You'd have to add some sort of token element (some people use text that is colored white) to one measure of each otherwise-empty system in the movement where you want the empty staves to show.
This is something we'd definitely like to improve in the future.

Thanks for the tip! I do have on question: How do you color text white?

With the Inspector - this is how you do almost all changing of properties of elements in MuseScore. If you previously closed it, open it again from the View menu.

Consider making it transparent instead
