Shifting Ledger Lines
For scoring part notation, I need to shift a ledger line to the right. When I shift the note, the line remains put. If there is a way to do this, please help me.

I fixed the problem. For future reference:
To complete this task, make sure that only the members of the part are indented. If a single part has multiple indentations, the ledger lines won't carry.

I don't understand. What is indented numerous times?

See the attachment on this reply. The parts are colored thus:
Blue - 1
Green - 2
When a single part has multiple indentations (left side), the ledger line does not shift. When all the members of a single part are indented in a common manner (right side), the ledger line is adjusted appropiately.
I hope this answers your question.
