played too fast?
edit: reedited because a file was not found
yes I can adjust the tempo but I already adjusted it before posting this and checked the sheet music:

SM3523_JumpJimCrow_1917_Score.pdf
listen to these:
non-waltz part of:

why do I think that it may be too fast? I searched recordings of this song on YouTube and it's too fast.
the vocal parts of this work in progress:
Jump,_Jim_Crow.mscz
now I don't really find a recording of this one or maybe the author is discredited(since the composer here is Sigmund Romberg and not Thomas D. Rice who made a more known version)

According to this definition (108-120 beats per minute), you should have the correct speed 114.

But it seems to me that the right speed should be about half of that.

do you think there is a bpm change that is not listed in the sheet music I put?

If you look at your Moderato assai in inspector you see that tempo is set to 114,00BPM. This seems correct according to the definition. But there are many 32nd notes and if I set this tempo to 57 it looks to me nearly the right speed.

how about the first link?(the one that leads to musescore.com) what tempo would it best be in?

This song sounds good to me. Since the shortest notes are 16th tempo 108-120 should be ok.

so if it's Moderato, then why is the actual speed around 57bpm?

I think your piece is written in double speed and the 32nd notes should really be 16th.
The half speed sounds correct for me.
