I am looking at the top bar of Musescore and cannot seem to find continuous view or page view

Without seeing what your toolbar looks like, perhaps the Playback Controls got slid over and are covering the 'Page View'/'Continuous View' control.

If that is the case, move your mouse cursor to the left of the 'Toggle MIDI Input' icon (looks like a 5 pin DIN connector) until the cursor turns into a 4-headed arrow. Then click and drag (the Playback Controls) to the right.
