Moving bar onto new line
I am writing a cadenza that I want to be in a single bar. I want to keep the page A4, but the bar is going off the page. How do I make the bar go onto a new line? I have tried using breaks, but it didn't seem to work. I am using the latest version of Musescore.

You split the bar into two bars at the point where you want the line break to happen. Select the resulting barline and turn it invisible (shortcut "V" or use the Inspector(F8)). Exclude the 2nd part of the bar from the bar count in its bar properties.
