how to hide bars from part score so they don't print?
In a score where the last measures are only needed in a single part, I need to hide those bars in the other parts so that they do not print.
Hiding pauses, barlines and rehearsal marks worked, but the empty staff still shows despite Properties > General > Visible being unchecked for those measures.
Is it possible to also prevent the staff from printing?

You can use a "staff type change element" to change it. select "invisible staff lines in the properties panel.
Just make sure to apply an extra staff change after your "deleted" section to make the staff lines visible for music that comes after.

It's in the tracker as P1 crash regression. Will have to wait for an update I guess.
