Sharing a .mscz score with a friend (public domain, traditional stuff)

Some friends and I like to play old time, traditional and other traditional world music tunes. Nothing subject to copyright and in any event just for our own enjoyment and convenience. One of us will be pulling together the various scores we've individually created on MuseScore into a single larger batch. Should make it easier to make revisions, correct errors etc. But I at least haven't figured out how to share my scores with music friends in .mscz. I can share easily in pdf format but we want to delegate updates, etc to a single person who then can update all of us most likely via pdf but as a .mscz file also if desired.
