downloaded musescore
I downloaded musescore so I could print music to practice and it just opens up to a blank music sheet for me to create music which isn't what I want and it doesn't show any way to get off of there.

MuseScore is music notation software intended for you to create music with. It doesn't come with music for you to print. Just as a word processor is text editing software intended for you to create documents with, and they don't come with books for you to print.
It's possible you actually intended not to download the music notation software, but to simply print sheet music from the score-sharing website musescore.com? If so, no need for the music notation software, just go over there to that website and you can print or download PDF's from there directly. And if you have further questions about that website, best to ask over there as well.
