Musescore Fonts
Musescore fonts are not visible in my system. I’m on Mac, but the problem looks the same on Windows. How can I use these fonts in a word-processing software, for example?
Thanks in advance.

Simple: you can't (without jumping though some hoops, see below)
Since MuseScore is open source, you can download the fonts yourself from GitHub and install them. Which fonts specifically are you wanting to use?

Hello Marc,
I am interested in toe and heel indications which can be found in ‘Keyboard techniques’ (special characters). I don’t know which font MuseScore took these characters from. Maybe Emmentaler?

One of the Musical Fonts, if a font doesn't have them, MuseScore falls back to Bravura, which always any by definition has all the SMuFL symbols

To use a music font in a word processor, you probably want the musical text font, which is the characters sized and positioned appropriately to use in text. So, BravuraText probably, which you would download from the SMuFL website - https://www.smufl.org/fonts/

Thanks to you two. I’m sorry to ask such a basic question, but how do you go about downloading this font from https://github.com/steinbergmedia/bravura? I do not find any button to trigger the download and by clicking on the ‘Installers’ folder I only find files in programming language.

https://github.com/steinbergmedia/bravura/blob/master/redist/otf/Bravur… should have a download button on it somewhere
