Solo and Soprano on same staff?

Hi Everyone :)

I'm trying to cut down the staves that I have so I'm merging the Soprano and Solo soprano lines together on the same stave (as if they were sop 1 and sop 2).

Is there a way that I can rename just the lines that have the solos in?

I attach a hand-written example.. the top line shows the normal soprano line with the sops 1 and 2 sharing the stave. The bottom line is the one that I need help with. I need to change the name from just 'sopranos' to

solo soprano
sopranos

but.. I don't want that to run throughout the piece.. just where I need it. Can I do that?
