Pedal markings on Grand Staff
I recently came across an engraving where the pedal markings are displayed using the symbols shown on the lower diagram in the attached file. Starts with upward vertical, and ends with downward vertical and the connecting line is not quite horizontal but has a slight upward slope. Does Musescore support this version for pedal lines?

Yes. Place a "normal" pedal marking from the Lines palette. Look at its properties in Inspector, tick "Allow diagonal" and make the End Hook Height +1.20. Then adjust the angle of the line in the score by cllicking on its end and dragging up or down.

Having created a line you like in the score you can then hold CTRL and drag it from the score to a pallet for re-use elsewhere.

[Ctrl][Shift] drag to the palette. Because the slope information is not retained, though, you still need to adjust the corner(s).
Thanks to all.. Tried the suggestions and a bit of technique on the drag. I had to release the CTRL+SHIFT after I started the drag for the object to be placed in the palette. If I kept these active, the line was removed and disappeared. So start the drag with the keys pressed and then continue and release the mouse button when over the palette. Glad to learn some new tricks.
