Respell Chord names en-harmonically as a group.
As I write for Bb, Eb and C instrument, quite often in a minor mode, I find I often need to respell the harmony from sharps to flats.
There are work-arounds for the notes, but it would be of great use to me if it were possible to respell various chordnames by selecting them, either adjacent or via ctrl-click and then have a facility to re-harmonize them to their other possibility.

Wouldn't transposing them work?

I tried this?
I cannot see how. can you describe how please?
For example, transpose from c#m to dbm.
Thanks.

Transpose → By Interval → Up → Augemented Unison
Transpose → By Interval → Down → Augemented Unison
I've set the chord symbols to only allow single accidentals.

Thank you indeed. :)
That works on bars with no notes, only changes, either individually or on a consecutive group of bars as well as bars with notes.
It DOES NOT work if selecting bars which are not consecutive (via ctrl/click). Trying to select separate bars only allows one bar at a time to be selected, but ...... :)
This will save a great deal of time and trouble.
I agree a well-designed system for this would be helpful - it's the most labor-intensive part of producing transposed lead sheets for sure. Ideally there would be some way of specifying what you want to respell - oike how the existing transpose dialog has controls to avoid double-sharps, but carried to the next level, to also control use of Cb or B#, etc.

Yes. Exactly.
