Musescore Deleting Audio Drivers
I've been having this very strange issue recently, any time I open Musescore my computers ability to play sound vanishes. If I look at the 'volume' panel while the program opens it I can see them disappear. Before opening the program all my audio devices show up in a list, but as soon as Musescore opens they go away and it just says 'No output devices found.' I have found no way of getting them back other than restarting my computer. Any ideas what's going on here?

Can you run the audio trouble shooter? Maybe not from the screen in your image, but from audio settings.

When I do it just says 'No audio device detected, connect an audio device to troubleshoot'.
If on Windows, try:

I've tried this, and even after disabling Exclusive Mode and installing new audio drivers, it still happens every time I open Musescore. I'm at a bit of a loss.

I don't think it is possible for software to delete drivers.
With MuseScore open go to Control Panel/Device Manager and see if there is a yellow warning symbol in the audio section. Also right click on the speaker icon in the right side of the taskbar. Then select Sounds/Playback. There should be a green checkmark on your playback device. MuseScore should also be listed in "Open Volume Mixer". Event Viewer might also tell us some things. But that is a little more involved.
