Move to next staff only works for one note at a time
MacOS X 10.4.11, 0.9.5 and rev. 2269, G5
Move note to next staff in piano only works for one note at a time. Multiple selected notes and chord are ignored.
(And I don't know if this is already known: Muse doesn't remember the file path when opening some files after another.)

How are you moving a note to next staff?

The way it is described here:

i've selected one note from a triad, but ctl-sh-down moves the *entire triad* down; how to get just one note moved?
thanks!

Sorry for the misunderstanding. That's a neat way to have the note stemmed across staves.
I wish to simply MOVE the note (dislodge it from the triad) and place it in the bass clef staff.
It seems that even tho one single note is highlighted (blue), the selection for this purpose is really the entire stemmed triad/chord -- thus when i try to move the highlighted single note, the entire triad moves from treble to bass staff.

Yes, it's the way it works. You can't move a single note from a chord using the current cross staff beaming facility. The snippet I linked to is the only way for the time being.
