chords not sounding

I read the faqs and still cant figure out how to hear the chords. When I first made the score with 3.3 it made sounds and now with the updated version it wont. I clicked on inspector as someone suggested but when I do that a grey box pops up and thats it, just a greyed out box with nothing to click on or visible at all.
