File corruption - but file works fine - how can I fix?
Here's the error message:
Measure 45, staff 17 incomplete. Expected: 12/8; Found: 42/16
Measure 46, staff 17 incomplete. Expected: 12/8; Found: 48/16
Measure 47, staff 17 incomplete. Expected: 12/8; Found: 42/16
Measure 48, staff 17 incomplete. Expected: 12/8; Found: 42/16
Measure 50, staff 17 incomplete. Expected: 12/8; Found: 18/8
Measure 51, staff 17 incomplete. Expected: 12/8; Found: 42/16
Measure 52, staff 17 incomplete. Expected: 12/8; Found: 42/16
By eyeball it looks fine. Counting down in "edit instruments" the cello is #17 in the list (not sure if that's how to determine staff #?).
I've been working on this score most of the week and doing an insane amount of copy/paste/explode and manually deleting a lot of extraneous rests that came in that section because the original was written with all strings in the cello part, so I alternated between exploding and manually editing each measure for each string instrument to give it the proper notes. Not sure if that is the issue.
Anyway, how can I fix this? I've worked with corrupted files before, but there's a ton of work in this one and I still need to edit. Was about to send to the conductor for first review but I don't want to risk destroying the file (yes, I immediately made a backup but of course that has the same corruption).
file attached. Thanks in advance!!

Nothing you do should be able to cause corruption -it's always the result of bugs. But, most likely you're right about what triggered the bug.
According to the status bar, staff 17 is actually the violin 2 - I think you probably didn't count the second staves of the pianos. And - yeah, it's a mess in those bars:
You'll definitely want to fix that sooner rather than later.

WOW! thank you, fixes made and corruption message disappeared. After spending hours & hours today on this I could barely count to 12, much less 13.
