Playing only one hand
I would like to play only right hand or left hand in the grand staff. I have done some search in Musescore and the only solution I have found is to replace a single piano by 2 pianos, one with the G staff and the second one with the F staff, and then mute one of the 2 through the mixer. A second option is to use different voices.
Since the postings on this issue are quite old, I would like to ask if there is any other simpler way of accomplishing the same thing in Musescore 4 without having to create a new instrument or to resort to different voices. It seems quite a simple thing to do and it would be very helpful for the novices learning piano.
Thanks very much for your help

Use the Mixer to select any voices in the top staff or the bottom staff that you wish to mute:

Hello, I have a new version, and I cannot find how to mute only one hand and listen to the other.
I attach the screenshot. If I click on S or M of the Piano voice, everything will be heard (S) or muted (M), I cannot see how to differentiate the the bass clef from the treble clef.
Thank you for your help

Select the notes you want to mute - eg, click first measure of staff, the Shift+Ctrl+End - then uncheck Play in the Properties panel.
