There are 9 lines on the page. I'd like to put in one more line.

Generally speaking, the way to fit more music on a page isn't to decrease the space between systems, but to decrease the staff size. Otherwise the music becomes very difficult to read as things get too crowded. To reduce staff size, see Format / Page Settings. But you can also crowed the page more by reducing the minimum system distance in Format / Style / Page - it just isn't advisable in most cases.
