Addition to note by duration feature

The new note by duration feature for Musescore is a great addition to Musescore's workflow. However in my view it would be even more flexible if you could further automate the process of placing rests instead of having to press 0 for the rests all the time. In Dorico you use a input cursor backwards and forwards and when placing a note further away (for instance 2 beats) it automatically places rests in between the notes. This way you can also free up de 0 shortcut, which (like in Dorico) could be used for a natural, where the = key could be used for sharp (negating the need to press the shift key combined with + to enter sharps.
