Issue with 16th notes while MIDI drum recording
Hi everyone,
I try to create drumsheets into musescore using midi files that I record with my electronic drums and a DAW.
Everything works fine except the fact that when I open the midi file in musescore I have two staves and all the kick or snare 16th notes are in the top stave and the other kick and snare notes are in the bottom stave ( Drum file 1.mscz ).
It is an issue cause when I assemble the two staves together only bottom stave kick and snare are in voice 2 and it makes the sheet illegible ( Drum file 2.mscz ).
Does anyone knows how to solve this ?
Thanks by advance !
Etienne

I recorded my steps for you.
The main idea is to first make the rhythms match up, so that in a 2nd pass implode can do its magic.
Top staff is in case you want everything to end up in 1 voice.
Once that is done, I've copied it into the bottom staff and shown how to make it adhere to the "hands up, feet down" standard; some more rhythmic cleanup could be of use then as well.

Thank you very much for this answer, it will simplify the post treatment of my recordings !
However do you think it is possible to "teach" the good voices and staves directly to the midi routing ?
