Hello. Can anyone explain to me what the signal highlighted in the image below is for? I didn't find anything on the Musescore page.

It's a "no-break" element. It hints the automatic layouting that no automatic system break should be applied between this measure and the following on. ISTR it came into existence to support the multimeasure repeat symbols.
