Restrict pizzicato marking playback to staff, as opposed to part.

I have a score with a violoncello part divided into two staves. I want the upper staff to play arco, while the lower staff plays pizzicato.

In the 6/8 bar, the G# in the upper staff is being played correctly. It inherits arco from previously in the piece. When the lower staff converts to pizzicato later in that bar, the conversion effects the entire part, and thus the final four notes (highlighted) are played pizzicato. However, I want them to stay arco.

So in musescore 4, how would I limit the scope of the pizzicato marking to only the bottom staff?
