Score not saving
For a while now, whenever i try to save a score, it simply says "Your score could not be saved" and then "An unknown error occurred while saving this file." does anyone know what this means and how to fix it?

Please identify your computer's operating system and version, and MuseScore's version. You can get all three simultaneously by clicking on Help / About MuseScore from the main menu. Then click the copy button (two pieces of paper) next to the "Build" number. Paste that into your post.
Then describe in GREAT and EXCRUCIATING detail exactly what you do when you try to save the score, what you expect to happen at each step, and how the program responds instead of matching your expectations.
It's possible to include too much detail but you'd really have to work at it. It's very easy to include too little ... so include more :-)

Im on a windows 64 and my musescore version is the latest version, so 4.5.1. when i go to save a score, i click ctrl-s and, like with this one piece im writing, it asks to whether to save on the cloud or on the computer. when saving to the cloud, it asks me to name the title of the score, which i do, and i click the save button below it. after a couple of seconds, a box pops up with the words quoted in the original post. when i save to the computer, i save it to the Musescore > scores and when i do, it says "your score could not be saved" and then below it reads, "An error occurred when making a path". thats basically the extent of my knowledge.

Try creating a new folder on the desktop. Try saving the file in it, make sure you don't use special caretters in the file name, check for the correct file extension (the characters after the dot). Attach a problematic file here, someone can check for corruptions.

i tried doing that, but it says, for example on the one, "Untitled score.mscz_saving". that 'saving' at the end makes it so i cant upload it here, cuz it's apparently "sync pending"

The very first step is finding the latest score backup created by MSS and making a copy of it!

The file, which is in fact a zip-file, cannot be opened with my 7-zip. It reports "data error". Maybe someone can repair it - or maybe it's broken. Unfortunately I can't.

It looks like a genuine file (PK this and that, not just zero's) but some important data must be missing or inaccurate.
