Choose any bowed string instrument, make a chord, use pizz. from Text palette, add any Arpeggio from Arpeggios and Glissandi palette. Doesn't occur in musescore 3 but happens in musescore 4 even with the old soundfont.

confusion.... I experience this same problem, I see the 'workaround' box is checked, suggesting there is in fact a workaround. Where can I find this?

since this is about the playback rather than the visuals, there is a workaround to get the same result. arpeggiated pizz chords are the same as pizz notes of a chord played very quickly. the workaround is to use a fast note such as 32nd notes to write out the notes of the chord :) hope this helps
