Help with drumset note input
Hi, new to the software, excited to mess around with update 4 after seeing Tentacruls video.
I am trying to write music for a drumset, using the Unpitched Percussion>Drumset instrument. I open up to a blank score. It does not let me place any notes on the staff. I select a quarter note, add a rhythm dot, and click on the F space (assuming treble cleff) for the bass drum, and nothing appears. If I press "F" on my keyboard it places my selected note value on the D just below the staff for the hi-hat foot.
What I would like to be able to do is:
1. Be able to just click around the staff to enter notes (what am I missing that this isn't working?)
2. Enter notes using the keyboard, but have A mean A space, B mean B line, C mean C space, etc... instead of using the built in drumset hotkeys (F for hi hat foot, C for crash cymbal etc...)
I have tried the "edit drumset" button in the bottom left and removing all of these premade hot keys, but that just removes my ability to enter notes altogether seeing as clicking the staff doesn't work.
Any help is appreciated!
