Soprano Sax range and Trumpet note length issues

I’m using the MuseScore 4 software and there’s no playback whenever I write a double F or higher for soprano saxophone. And whenever I write sustains for trumpet, so basically whole notes tied to whole notes, the sound starts then stops midway through the sustain. It’s not a sudden stop, it more-so tapers off
