Playback of ties problem in strings

I was having some issues with ties in the string section. The ties always sound legato, no matter the context (there's no crisp articulation at the start of the tie). With legato sections or sections with longer note durations, ties sound fine. However, the ties stick out in more articulate sections and sound really awkward.

The screenshot below is an example of one of these awkward-sounding instances. The tied notes should have an equally articulate start to them, just as the rest of the eighth notes, but they do not. In other words, it should sound, "Ta Ta Ta Taaaa," and not, "Ta Ta Ta wwwaaAAA."

I hope my explanation was clear. Is there a way to mitigate this? Or is this something that needs to be fixed in a future update?
