Changing the actual measure length in Measure properties doesn't work right

OS: Windows 10 Version 2009, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 4.0.0-223472200, revision: 5485621
Steps to reproduce the issue:
1. Select a measure mid score, I'm usually selecting one at the end of a system.
2. Add an eighth or quarter to the length (2/4 to 5/8 or 4/4 to 5/4).
instead of changing every staff in that measure, ones with notes remain unchanged, but the following measure gets clobbered by the amount of the extension. Measures with rests only are extended properly.

I use this a lot when I working with chants associated with Psalms.
