Trying to do counterpoint exercises
I would like unbarred music, but with barlines at the end of phrases / end of the piece. I've found the setting for making all bar lines invisible, but I'd like some of them still visible. Is that possible?

Of course it is. Just make only those Berliner invisible you don't want. Or make those visible you want. Or don't tamper with bar line visibility at all, but join the measures into just one per system
Make big bars - set the Actual duration as high as you need and set a Break after each bar.
