16th notes being "rushed" in musescore 4 for piano?

for some reason, the first couple sixteenth notes in bar two of my composition are rushed during playback and almost smushed together. the issue happens with the musesounds piano sound, but oddly goes away if i remove the bottom A from the last left hand chord. the issue also goes away if i use the grand piano sound instead of the regular piano sound.

i have attached a copy of the first couple measures with the issue as well as with that A removed. i don't feel comfortable uploading the whole score here until i'm ready to publish it to the site, but the issue is exactly as it is in my actual score!

does anyone have any idea what might be causing this? it's very strange that the A is doing this. i've tried messing with pedal markings somehow, but no matter what i do it still persists.
