Additive time signature unexpected change, when creating MS3 [resolved]
In a new score, I thought I had created the desired 4+3/8 meter, as seen in screncap1.png below. When I started note entry, I found 8 eighths in the measure. Going to "Time signature properties", shows the 7/8 & 7/8 that WERE in the "Global Value" and "Actual Value" had been replaced by what's seen here. What the heck? Did I save the meter wrong somehow?

Yes, there seems no way to change to such a time signatur in an existing score.
Oh, yes, there is a way see edited text below.
But: create a new score, when you are asked for the time signatur, choose 7/8. Later you can change the text of the time signatur into 4+3 / 8.
[Edit]
Other way:
Choose 'more' in the time signature palette. Then you can create a new time signature. In your case with 7/8 value and text 4+3 / 8.
Apply this to your score.

Your "other way" worked, thanks! I wouldn't have thought a solid MS3.6.2 would have needed to recreate a score to accomplish this.
