Arrow obscures ledger lines (note entry)

Using r. 1175, the Note-Entry arrow obscures the ledger lines, making it quite difficult to see what note is being entered (as per the attached graphic).

Sometimes it's possible to move the arrow over slightly (which helps) but not always.
