Musescore 4 freezes on opening in Windows

I've seen a few posts about 4 crashing, but I'm not seeing error messages as some are. I have used it a little in the past couple of weeks, but now it mostly opens, then refuses to go any further and has to be quit in Task Manager. I've tried re-installing. Maybe I should just go back to 3?
