How can I fix this imported (from pdf) score?
I imported a transcription from a pdf and it was almost perfect! I fixed a few things and there is one more I can't figure out. The pdf is a lead sheet with chord symbols, none of which were included - that is fine with me, I just put them in. But ... One of the chord symbols ended up being imported as a rest right above the staff, and I can't get rid of it! I'm sure it's simple if one knows what to do.
I've attached 3 files
- screenshot of one measure of the PDF source
- screenshot of that measure, after import into musescore
- mszcz file of that measure as imported

That rest is in Voice 1 and the notes are in Voice 2. You can't delete a rest in Voice 1 so the solution is to swap Voice 1 with Voice 2 then delete it. (Tools >Voices >Exchange Voice 1→2).

That did it, thanks!!!

Then again that score isn't corrupt (and on reading ypour post yopu didn't even claim that ;-))
As far as I know the imported doesn't regonize any text, be it lyrics or chord symbols
