MS4 String Harmonics Playback Broken

• Jan 15, 2023 - 00:02

On viola, written C#3-A3, B3, C#4, D#4, F4, G4, A4, B4, C#5 do not playback with the harmonic sign as as notes at all. C3 works fine, A#3 works fine, and the half steps in between as well, sounding 2 octaves above written. It seems that pattern of alternating working notes and broken ones continues going up. On cello, anything at a written B2 or lower will not play with the harmonic sign. Violins do not have these issues whatsoever...

When clicking on the note for all instruments, you will hear the note as written (as if it was not a harmonic). This is unhelpful for playback or checking notes one at a time - I want to hear the note as if it were played, not the written pitch.

To reproduce: create a score with vln/vla/cello and insert the harmonic symbol above the problematic notes.

I have the same problem. Trying to make the 5th natural harmonic sound on the G string (III) in a cello using the little circle and the text "harmonics" but it doesn't produce any sound when played back.
