Grace notes bug?

Adding acciaccatura works just fine but other options(quarter grace, eighth, ..) sound awkward. Is this happening only to me?

1. When you play the notes, the grace note kicks in at the exact beat, not before the beat.(confer to attached pic)
2. The original note(as in the pic, the latter D) gets played way later than it should be.
3. Adjusting the length of the grace note won't do anything
