MuseScore not working on Mac

Every time I download MuseHub and MuseScore on my Mac, it goes through and appears in my downloads. However, when I try to access MuseScore, a small screen pops up that says "MuseScore quit unexpectedly, click to reopen." Every time I try to reopen it, it does not work. The same screen pops up. I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and if there is any way to fix it.
