Barre for Guitar

Hello, hope you guys can help.
I have been trying to find a way to edit the default VII on the barre option on the palette. Generally to edit text, I only need to double click. Double clicking doesn't work. When I click right to bring up the drop down options and I try to "Edit Element" nothing happens.
Please help, I'm starting to pull my hairs out.

All you need is in the properties tab on the left: Properties - Text Line - Text is your friend

And to add it to your palette, drag it with Ctrl+Shift from the score.
