Too many questions!!!
Howdy. I downloaded a song from MuseScore that only had a violin part. It's kinda sorta a lead sheet. Somehow, I was able to change violin to piano but the chords that are listed above the staff won't play. I'm lost on this one. I'd like MuseScore to play the chords but not sure it's possible due to the change. Any thoughts? I've include the sheet in question. Thanks

If using MuseScore 4:
https://musescore.org/en/handbook/4/playback-controls#other-commands
and look at the picture for "Play chord symbols".
If using MS3:

Sorry, didn't work for me. Imma using 3.62. Maybe it's because the original sheet only had one intrument or one clef, dunno.
Hi, in your sheet , all chords are muted, i Don't know why. So, select one chord, right click, choose "all similars elements", all the chords become Blue. Go in the "INSPECTOR" and find the "touch" for LECTURE or PLAY (I'm on the french version) and all the chords , now , play.
