Force a number of measure in a line/stave
Is there a way in musescore to fit a number of scores in a line of music? I understand the use of the enter button, but I want to fit 5 or six bars in a line not 4,3,2, etc.

Format > Add/remove system breaks

When I do that... it does effect the document except for the first line.

That picture shows system breaks in measures 6 and 12. You can remove all system breaks from the Format>Add/remove system breaks menu.
To get more measures in a system, you can try one or more of these adjustments:
a) use a larger paper size
b) reduce the size of the margins
c) reduce the size of everything in the score by reducing the stave space in Format>Page settings
d) reduce the notation stretch by selecting everything (CTRL+A) or just a range of measures and using keyboard shortcut "{" or from the Format>Stretch menu
