If you have a paid 'Pro' subscription to .COM website, browse the scores there. Pick a composition that looks / sounds interesting. If you can DOWNLOAD it to your computer, do so. Then EXPERIMENT with that score.
Try adding / removing instruments. Eventually you'll get a feel for editing modes & techniques. As well as notation modifications; adding dynamics, articulations, voices, chords. You've only got around 3,291 things to learn. "Strike while the iron is hot."
And, while help is available via the Handbooks and these Forums, finding a particular issue is sometimes frustrating. I VERY FREQUENTLY do Internet searches. I want to know how to add tremolos?? OK, here's my Internet search: "musescore add tremolo". Browse the returned links, jump around. Something will be very close to your question.
OH, and if you don't have a paid 'Pro' subscription and can't download any scores, check out my website https://www.gandsnut.net which has FREE MuseScore files -- around 90 scores.
