Random instrument holding over when not notated

I am using version 4.0.2, revision dbe7c6d on windows 11. When using playback in musescore, I have no problem, but after exporting wav and flac files, after a repeat I get this woodwind instrument sustained note(it sounds kinda like an oboe but could be a clarinet.)

Something very similar happens sometimes to me sometimes since MuseScore 3 when I press the play button, but then I stop it, restart it and it goes back to normal.
