MS4's sound is short-lived

MuseScore 4's sound engine seems to only last for a limited time (maybe an hour or so) until I have to restart. In MS3 I could leave a window open for days and the sound would still work. After a certain point in MS4, not even closing and reopening the score works, I have to completely restart MuseScore. Note that I am not using MuseScore continuously during this time, but it seems to happen a certain time after I open the score, not since I last edit it.
