Score hairpins not always migrating

I have a large score of around 240 measures that has 23 separate parts. After completing the score I opened to parts and have found numerous hairpins to be missing from various parts. Have I done something to make this happen? Is there an easy to fix to save the time of having to go measure-by-measure of every part to ensure everything is there?
