Not sure which subscription to use.
Hi
I am new here, so please let me know if this is the wrong place for this question.
I want to download about 10 midi files from musescore in the next couple of days. They are songs that my daughter is learning to sing.
Is there a way to just pay per midi download?
If not, what would be the cheapest subscription option to download 10 midi files?
Thanks for your help.
Mark

Hi
Thanks for your quick reply and the overview.
So, it sounds like there there is no option to just pay per midi download.
From what I understand there are 12 different subscription options.
I would like to know which one of these 12 subscription options will allow me to download 10 midi files in the next couple of days, and what are the penalties for canceling a subscription.
From what I understand these are the 12 possible subscription options:
Pro account - access to score repository and premium tools.
• Annual 7-Day trial - $49.99 USD
• Annual instant - $29.99 USD
• Monthly 7-Day trial - $6.99 USD
Pro+ account- access to score repository, premium tools, and Official scores (view and play).
• Annual 7-Day trial - $69.99 USD
• Annual instant - $39.99 USD
• Monthly 7-Day trial - $9.99 USD
Learn -access to courses from professional musicians https://musescore.com/courses.
• Annual 7-Day trial - $179.99 USD
• Annual instant - $199.99 USD
• Monthly 7-Day trial - $19.99 USD
MuseScore One - is a multipurpose subscription that provides you access to all our services.
• Monthly instant - 25.99 USD
• Annual instant - 149.99 USD
• Annual 7-Day trial - 214.99 USD
I guess i have to choose one of the 12 subscriptions listed above, but I need to know :
- Which subscriptions allow download of 10 midi files (does "access to score" include midi download?)
- Do I get a refund if canceling during the "7-Day trial" period?
eg. If i get a 7 day trial , then download the 10 midi files and then cancel the subscription, what will I pay?
Or more simply put - what is my cheapest option for downloading 10 midi files?

You are presently here at the musescore.org forum.
For subscription info. you want .com.
See:
https://musescore.org/en/node/277874
especially where it says:
"Any questions or issues concerning billing (of a Pro subscription) need to be sent to support@musescore.com"

for downloadable formats.
The MuseScore notation software is available at no cost here:

This forum (where you are presently - i.e., .org) handles issues encountered by users of that (free) notation software.

Thanks for your message.
It might be me, but I can not see a way to search for specific songs on LibreScore.
Whereas on musescore, I have already found the 10 songs want.
Do you know what is the cheapest subscription option/ strategy on musescore to download the 10 midi files that I have found already?
Ideally I would just pay per download, but that doesn't seem to be an option.
There are 12 different subscription options, and not much clarity on which one would be best for one time download of 10 midi files.

I downloaded LibreScore app for mac, but unfortunately it will not launch.
I get this message :

check it for malicious software.
This software needs to be updated.

that is just your security settings, turn it off; i installed it and my computer is still alive.
for those songs you are looking for, you will get some results if you google for; Title+Karaoke+Midi.
