Switching to the same instrument but with a different soundfont
I'm having trouble with this. I have a drumset Jazz soundfont I use at the beginning of a piece. Then, I want to switch to the MS Basics kit. I tried to use the change instrument, but no luck. I want the drumset to all be in one part but I can't think of how to do this.

If you are using MuseScore 4.0.x, you cannot to do this by now. It is expected to have that function... "soon"
If you are using any other old version, you should be able to get this with the "Change Instrument" text function (look for it at the palettes).
